Expérience:
I have been invloved with individuals with special needs my whole life as my older brother has autism. When I was a child at summer camp, I would play with the campers who had special needs and hang out with their integration counselors. When I started high school, I needed a way to earn community service hours. Somebody suggested I volunteer with the students with special needs. I loved it so much I did it all through highschool long after I had enough hours. When it came to summer breaks during highschool, I needed something to do. Somebody suggested Autism Ontario Kids Camp. I volunteered there in the summers of 2005 and 2006 and had a paid postion there in the summer of 2007. Also in 2007, I completed a co-op placement with Commuity Living York South. They provide day programs, residences, and sheltered work placements for adults with special needs. In the summers of 2008 and 2009 I had a paid and a volunteer postion, respectivly
